We encourage children between the ages of 8-15 at Rednal and have witnessed first hand the benefits that karting can bring to children of all ages. At Rednal Karting we can offer 3 levels of karting for children;

1 'Arrive and drive' using our karts, helmets race suit and gloves etc we charge £15.00 for a 20 minute session. As safety is of paramount importance we allocate separate junior karting sessions every Sunday morning between 09.30am and 11.00am. Due to the popularity of this event it is imperative that you telephone 07989 471307 to book your child/children in.

Childrens Birthday Parties

Rednal is a popular venue for childrens karting parties, the children must be at least 1.25 mtrs in height. For children aged 8-12 we offer an "Arrive N Drive" karting experience which is a 20 minute session on the track for £15.00 per junior. We supply all safety equipment such as race-suits, helmets and gloves, the children will recieve a full safety briefing before the event starts.

For children of age 12-15  (minimumheight 1.5 metres) we can offer a time trial, which means all the karts are connected to our Tag Heuer timing equipment which records each individual karts lap times and the person to set the fastest lap within the 20 minute session on groups of 6 or more recieves a trophy. our "Time Trial" option costs £20.00 per junior.

We welcome party groups of 6 upwards, usually on Sundays and during school holidays subject to availability.

2 Own your own kart and equipment, to use it for fun at Rednal as an owner/driver. For this we charge £20.00 per day per kart.
We have available new and second hand karts for sale to suit all ages from 5 years old upwards and can offer advice on suitability.

3 The "JENSON BUTTON" Option.
By now everyone knows that our current formula one world champion Jenson Button, and forma world champion Lewis Hamilton started out in karting, as did many other British, European and International racing drivers.
Youngsters can start M.S.A karting at the age of 9 as a cadet or join other classes according to their age.
Rednal karting has its own race team competing in various “local” and National events.

You will need a new or fairly new chassis along with a competitive engine both of which we can supply or advise on.
You will first take a simple competence test which we can arrange and which will provide you with a novice competition licence.
After 5 races without incident. (you will gain a signature on your novice licence after each race)
you will be able to apply for your full competition licence and from there you will be able to race at a top level in events throughout the country.

Rednal karting can supply awning space and mechanical/technical expertise as part of the Corsa Racing Team at our chosen events.
We have Corsa drivers competing in 2010 championships at Glan y gorse park near Corwen,
Three Sister racetrack at Wigan and the British Super One Championship which takes place at different events throughout the country.
